Join us in our vision to have Africa producing its own video games for
Africa but also for the rest of the world.

We are looking for experienced game developers, illustrators, animators and sound engineers to bring this project to life and to kickstart a game development unit that will teach and publish games!

We are also looking for funding!

Why build games in Africa?

DeCodEd aims to develop games as entertaining as the ones we can find on the global market now but with an African touch. The content used is Africa orientated with African characters, locations, costumes, and other cultural elements.

The topics are adapted to the geographic, political, and social situation of Africa. Not meaning that the action is not related to the international scene, on the contrary, the stories can turn around issues that become global like climate, environment, injustice, inequality, terrorism, migration, and other issues. The project will establish a new identity and genre for Africa like it has been done in Europe and Asia.

Initial project
USONI: The Video Game Concept (From the USONI Film)

In 2062, in a chaotic world in which Europe is dead due to global warming, nuclear catastrophes and climate change, the great migration now goes from North to South, directly opposite to the phenomenon of the beginning of the century.

The World Revolution started in 2020 with the Coronavirus episode which made the North Superpowers to move South. When the Great Catastrophe of 2037 happens the New World completely shuts the continent to the North.

We follow a couple on their dangerous journey to escape Hell Europe and are determined to have their child born in the light... in the warm light of the African sun.
